femnology

The Brief · Weekly · Free

Walk into your next appointment knowing what to ask.

A short email from femnology every Sunday evening: one hormone explainer in plain language, one myth corrected with its source, and one question worth taking to your GP. No supplements, no “journey”, no ten-day reset.

The Brief: one thing to ask, every week. The explainer, the myth corrected, the question.

My ‘why’

I’m a registered paramedic. For years I’ve watched women describe exhaustion, cycles gone haywire, brain fog and pain, and be told it’s stress, or age, or “just hormones”, as if that were an answer. Then I watched it happen to the women in my own life.

When I went looking for clear, evidence-based information to give them, I found dense clinical sites or influencers selling supplements, and nothing in between. femnology is the in-between: the research, translated into plain language, sourced and clinically reviewed, with nothing to sell you. It should have already existed.

The site launches in October 2026 with four guides on perimenopause: symptoms, HRT, the nervous system, and diet. Every page names its sources and carries the date it was last checked. Where the evidence is unsettled, we say so.

femnology is a publisher, not a clinic. Nothing here is medical advice for your situation; it is the information to take into the appointment with someone who can give you that advice.
